(1)If a person who has been convicted in Singapore or elsewhere of an offence punishable with imprisonment for 2 years or more is convicted of another offence also punishable with imprisonment for 2 years or more, a court may, in addition to sentencing him²⁰²¹the person²⁰²¹ to any other punishment, order that he²⁰²¹the person²⁰²¹ be placed under police supervision for a period starting immediately after the last sentence passed on him²⁰²¹the person²⁰²¹ ends.

(2)The period of supervision imposed by the General Division of the ²⁰²¹High Court, the District Court and the Magistrate’s Court under subsection (1) must not exceed 7 years, 5 years and 3 years, respectively.
