“released person” means any person who is released on bail or on his or her ²⁰²¹personal bond, as the case may be;

“surrender to custody”, in relation to a released person, means to surrender himself or herself ²⁰²¹into the custody of the court or a police officer,²⁰²¹officer²⁰²¹ as²⁰²¹(as²⁰²¹ the case may be,²⁰²¹be)²⁰²¹ according to the bail or bond conditions at the time and place appointed for him or her ²⁰²¹to do so.
