If, at the time of the committing of house-breaking, any person guilty of such offence voluntarily causes or attempts to cause death or grievous hurt to any person, every person jointly concerned in committing such house-breaking, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than 3 years and not more than 20 years.
