Whoever sells, lets to hire, distributes, exhibits or circulates to any person below 21 years of age any such obscene object as is referred to in section 292obscene object as defined in section 292(2), or offers or attempts to do so, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both.
